Demolition Bids - 417 S. Ledford

PUBLIC NOTICE OF DEMOLITION PROJECT

The City Council for the City of Harrisburg will receive sealed bids for the demolition project for the following properties now owned by the City of Harrisburg: 

417 S. Ledford Street – PIN: 06-2-447-10

Sealed bids for the project must be from start to finish with the contractor responsible for demolition, dumpster fees and backfilling.  All sealed bids must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than April 15, 2025 by 2:00 p.m.  Sealed bids will be opened during the regularly scheduled council meeting on April 17, 2025.  Bid shall bear the legend "DEMOLITION BID" and shall have the specific address of the property to which the bid relates. The bidder must have one million dollars of liability naming the City of Harrisburg as an insured party. The project must be completed within 45 days of awarding the bid.

The City Council may accept the lowest bid or offer whose bid meets the requirements and which is determined by them to be in the best interest of the municipality, and which complies with the terms of this notice. The City has the right to reject any and all bids or offers, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The City reserves the right to review and study any and all bids and to make an award within thirty days after the bids have been opened and publicly read.
